The new beer’s called Hop into Houhai, or 跳后海, and it’s a Beijing riff on 18’s flagship Tiao Donghu (跳东湖) IPA with the addition of some sour “Houhai Flavor”…

A mouth-puckering IPA brewed with Australian and New Zealand hops and then soured for a surprising combination of tartness and hop bitterness. Bright and juicy, with notes of tropical fruit, citrus, and black pepper. A collaboration with Wuhan’s No. 18 Brewing.
