Our 2015 JUE brew is inspired by the famous Beijing street snack that combines the sweetness of cane sugar with the tart kick of hawthorn berries.
Gaze into this ominously dark and full-bodied brew and you might feel it watching you back. Pours a shade just shy of black with a thick brown head and a flavor dominated by toasted and roasted malts, with rich notes of dark chocolate, blackcurrant and licorice.
Drinking ale based on a rustic French Bière de Garde, which translates to beer for keeping… in our case, keeping the neighborhood safe! Months of conditioning have allowed its spicy and fruity malt character to rise to the foreground. It rounds off each sip with a nod of hop bitterness and a clean finish.

We load our Beijing Bikini Watermelon Wheat with the best local watermelons from Daxing to create a crisp summer brew with a watermelon kick and a dry, sparkling finish.
